UK-Japan 21st Century Group

30th Meeting
May 1–6, 2013

The 30th annual meeting of the UK-Japan 21st Century Group convened in London and West Sussex on May 1–6, 2013. Over forty senior Japanese and British leaders attended the meeting, where they engaged in a series of roundtable discussions on issues such as the political and economic challenges facing each country, climate change and energy policy, geopolitics and changing security challenges in East Asia, the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement, corporate governance, and international development cooperation.

Following the forum, a joint statement was issued detailing the findings and recommendations of the participants.
